All hourly rates are billed to the nearest 15 minutes after the minimum has been reached

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. You can email us at [email protected] or leave a voicemail at (541) 625 - 0035 any time of day. If you would like to reschedule, let us know in your message and we will call you back as soon as possible.

We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Out of respect for our staff and other clients, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment. Any appointment cancelled after the 24 hour time frame will be considered missed.

On-site appointments will be considered missed if the client remains absent 15 minutes after the start of the appointment time.

Remote support appointments will be considered missed if the client doesn't answer the call. An initial phone call will be made at the time of the appointment, followed by three more attempts at 5 minutes after, 10 minutes after, and 15 minutes after the start time of the appointment.

Return Policy

TechSmith LLC supplies no warranty for equipment recommendations. The return or replacement of any recommended equipment is the responsibility of the customer. TechSmith LLC can assist in the process of determining if customer purchased equipment needs to be replaced.

Equipment purchased by TechSmith LLC on behalf of the customer can be installed by TechSmith LLC, and after successful installation of equipment, TechSmith LLC holds no responsibility for improper use resulting in failure of equipment.

In the event of the cancellation of a job requiring materials and equipment, unopened equipment and materials will be returned at no cost to the customer, aside from any shipping cost. Custom, opened or otherwise unreturnable items will be charged to the customer, so long as an initial agreement to order the items has occurred.

Prior to the purchase of any custom or potentially non-refundable equipment, a customer's credit card must be on file.

Equipment Holding Policy

Any equipment held by TechSmith LLC for the purposes of repair, configuration, recycling or donation will not be held for more than 30 days after entering TechSmith LLC possession, unless otherwise discussed.

Prior to the intake of any customer equipment, TechSmith LLC and the owner of the equipment will discuss a plan and timeline for holding said equipment, to be signed off by both parties.

Credit Card Policy

TechSmith LLC uses Square to process credit card payments. Credit card payments for invoices totalling over $500 will accrue a 5% processing fee.

There is no fee for paying with cash or check, regardless of invoice amount.

Backups & Data Storage

In the event that TechSmith LLC backs up any personal data on their own storage servers, the data will be removed after 30 days, unless otherwise discussed. This is done solely as a courtesy service, and TechSmith LLC provides no guarantee of data integrity. The customer should ensure that a proper backup solution has been created and maintained before any data transfer projects.

Physical copies of any work orders (signed by the customer upon completion) are kept on file for 1 year from the date of the appointment. Any customer request to view a physical work order from their appointment needs to be submitted by contacting TechSmith LLC within this time frame.

Upon signing a work order, the customer understands and agrees that the physical copy of the work order will only be available for 1 year after the appointment. It is up to the customer to make a photocopy of the work order if they wish to retain the original document with signature intact.

Digital copies of work orders, quotes, invoices, or receipts are kept on file indefinitely, and can be requested at any time by the customer to whom they belong. Digital copies of work orders do not contain the original customer signature for privacy purposes.

Other Policies

Any equipment totaling over $500 in costs are to be purchased by the customer. TechSmith LLC will still give recommendations for equipment totaling over $500, but provides no warranty for any equipment.
